Welcome to the ultimate adventure for you & your pet! As Jimmy Buffett once stated, Life is like a Tire Swing and that is the goal of this camp. Adventures on the river and the bay, with your dog or one of our rescues that need some fun! This camp will teach teamwork with other children and their dogs. From adventures aboard our mothership to backwater exploration in canoe or kayak, this  is your ticket to a summer filled with Mischief, Manners, and Fun! Supervised of course!

2024 CAMP

A classic summer camp experience like you may have had growing up plus a little extra. We offer a day camp for the camper and their dog where the camper will learn about dog behavior, training, and care, in the mornings. They will learn how to train their dog in obedience, dock diving, hunt test, field trials and other AKC styled events. Obedience will use the guidelines of AKC CANINE GOOD CITIZEN. After a morning of training, the campers and their dogs will have the opportunity to kayak and swim in Fish River or the Bay and play on a sandbar with their dog. A river and bay cruise on our mothership Hatteras "OASIS" is included. The Oasis acts as our Mothership during our explorations of Weeksbay & Fish River. Other activities may include archery, tubing, plant and tree identification, river exploration, and fishing.

Our camp is open for campers ages 7-15. If you do not have a dog we will let you train with one of our Labrador retrievers, or with one of our foster dogs. Camps will be Monday – Friday from 9am to 3pm.
